expensive digital camcorder just out of warranty, costing $1250, had, according to Panasonic, damage from water. Other than humidity, was never exposed to water.

Unit has always been in my possession except when I mailed it into them. Sent unit in for examination and they told me it is not repairable. It was just out of warranty (never received any reminders to renew warranty which other companies provide). Believe their examination and reported results was very self serving and there is no way for me to refute.

Unit should last much longer than it did and not become inoperable from exposure to normal conditions. Service Order # and job #SPAK3B59TQ

never resolved...I gave up..told them to keep the camcorder...they refused to budget...VERY UNHAPPY with Panasonic
